O-MEGA

Omar Robinson, “O-Mega” is a Hip Hop artist with a soulful sound.  His R & B spin he gives to his craft of music is unparalleled to the crossover artists of today.  He was given an alias “Luther Vandross of the Trap” because of his vocal ability for melodies but with a raspy, smooth, feel good vibe.  

Born September 30, 1990 the oldest of three, he grew up mostly in Concord, North Carolina in a household with one sister and a brother.  Starting with college to then working extremely hard to build a career opened up his desire to pursue his real dreams.  His mother was instrumental to encouraging him to allow his gift to make room for him in the world.  

Always musically inclined, his musical background is generational from his maternal family.  His grandmother and her siblings were labeled “songbirds”.  His roots consist of learning to play the drums on his own and singing in the choir that his mother directed.  The drums being the only instrument in the church, his gift made it sound like a live full band which lead to his love for making beats and producing music.  
O-Mega is also a member of the Hip Hop powerhouse “Royal Gang”, in which he began his career in music; since, they have been nominated for “Best Group” for the Charlotte’s People’s Choice Awards.  He is a member of “The Royal Mob” which is a compilation of multi-talented artists under the Classified MusicGroup Record Label located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
