Coota

About Sade D. Littlejohn was born on October 30, 1994 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is an abstract-minded creative young female whom uses the stage name Coota. This stage name came from her deceased grandfather, James Littlejohn, a 1st Sergeant Major in the military. Since the age of 10, Sade has had a talent for writing. Sade has a gift for words: poetry, journalism, and detailed descriptive translations from visual & mental thought seem to make their way to paper very easily.

Originally derived for the purpose of pain relief, detailed descriptive translations are still being used on a more complex level as a form of art. Dealing with an absent father and a mother addicted to drugs as a child, love and relationships were a challenge for Sade.

She experienced life and maturity at a young age due to problems with authority and gangs. Her troubles molded and transformed her into an ambitious, head-strong young woman. Most underestimated the potential or outcome of this young female since they were blind to the level of competence, gratitude, and intelligence required for her to research material that she applied to her daily life.

Her current role as a young mother requires more hard work on top of pursuing her music career, building a brand, and maintaining a top position in sales out of the entire department of her workplace. She is incorporating the sales knowledge which she has learned from her job into building her brand of  Coota. After being  exposed to business knowledge, network marketing and entrepreneurship, and tapping into manifestation, Sade quit her job as a sales consultant to launch her music career. Her inspiration comes from: Artist Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, a female artist, model, singer, and dancer; Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, a rapper and singer; Onika Tanya Maraj, an American rapper and songwriter; Joyce Meyer, a Charismatic Christian author and speaker; and New York Times best-selling authors Ashley & JaQuavis who are now signed to Cash Money.
